Journeymen classes are now being formed. If you are interested in attending any class or classes please call (301) 322-8810 to register. Dates are subject to change. All classes are subject to cancellation based on poor participation. Testing fees listed are the amounts paid by the Apprentice School for mandatory third-party testing.
Journeyman Welding - 10 nights - Advanced Welding UA Certification & Job Site Techniques - requires safety glasses and welding hood. Call school, limited class size - Instructor: D. Printz - October 7, 8, 21, 2010; November 4, 12, 19, 2010; December 9, 10, 2010. DC Weld Exam will be held in December 2010. UA Certification Test Scheduled as Needed.
Maryland State Plumbing Code - 6 nights - National Standard Plumbing Code & Maryland Supplements. Instructor: Riddell - October 15, 22, 29, 2010; November 4, 12, 19, 2010.
Backflow: Full Certification - 10 nights - Instructor: Contic - January 6, 13, 20, 27, 2011; February 3, 10, 17, 24, 2011; March 3, 10, 2011.
Backflow: Re-certification (Two Classes) - 8 hours - B Building - Must attend both nights per session to re-certify. Instructor: Contic - Session I – September 23, 24, 2010; Session II – December 9, 10, 2010; April 14, 15, 2011.
International Code (DC & VA): 10 nights - A building - Instructor: Printz, Sr. - November 5, 12, 19, 2010; December 3, 10, 17, 2010.
CAD: A Building - 10 nights - Instructor: Russell - January 6, 13, 20, 27, 2011; February 3, 10, 17, 24, 2011; March 3, 10, 2011.
Medical Gas Class: $108.00 Testing Fee - 10 nights - Instructor: Riddell - January 7, 14, 21, 28, 2011; February 4, 11, 18, 25, 2011; March 4, 11, 2011.
UA STAR CLASS: $125.00 Testing Fee - 4 nights plus test night - Instructor: Haley - April 8, 15, 22, 29, 2011
OSHA Safety Certification: 10 hour or 30 hour classes - 3 or 9* Nights - Instructor: Printz - OSHA 10 – February 11, 18, 25, 2011; OSHA 30 - Classes Formed as Needed. (Call the school to form classes.)
